Sopwell House is a Georgian country house hotel on the edge of St Albans, once the private residence of Lord Mountbatten, set in 12 acres of Hertfordshire countryside.
I've worked there as a makeup artist, so the space and the light are already familiar to me. If it is where you're marrying, I would love to be part of your morning.
The look

If your wedding is somewhere else nearby
You may be marrying outside St Albans itself, and that is no problem: I come to your getting-ready location wherever it is. Aubrey Park Hotel in Redbourn, for instance, is set in 9 acres of woodland and countryside and has the Oak Suite for exclusive-use weddings. I would be glad to work there.
Whatever the venue, the first step is the same. We talk through your plans, then I plan your morning around your ceremony time and your bridal party.

A milestone birthday, a prom or an evening that calls for a little more polish. Occasion makeup is £70, and the first step is a chat about what you'll be wearing and the feel of the evening.
