I've worked at Sopwell House before, so I already know the space and the light, and how to plan your morning around it. My aim is for your getting-ready to feel calm, unhurried and completely looked after.

Getting married at Sopwell House?
A Georgian country house hotel on the edge of St Albans, once the private residence of Lord Mountbatten, set in 12 acres of Hertfordshire countryside.
On the morning, I'll arrive at your getting-ready location and recreate the look we planned together. Your bridal preview can be at my private studio in Kings Langley, around 20-25 minutes from Sopwell House.
I only ever take one wedding a day, so you have my full, unhurried attention from start to finish.

Every bridal booking includes luxury skin preparation, premium long-wearing products, a complimentary touch-up kit and a calm, organised wedding morning.
Travel within 10 miles of Kings Langley is included. Additional travel is charged at £0.50 per mile thereafter.

Have you worked at Sopwell House before?
Yes, I've worked as a makeup artist at Sopwell House before, and I'd love to be part of your wedding day there.
Is travel to Sopwell House included in the price?
Travel within 10 miles of Kings Langley is included in your bridal makeup price. For locations further afield, I calculate the additional travel by mileage and confirm this with you when I check your date.
What if I'm getting ready at Sopwell House on the morning?
That's no problem at all. I'll come to you and work around your hair, photography and ceremony timings, so your morning feels calm and organised.
Do you take more than one wedding on the same day?
No, I only ever take one wedding a day, so you have my full, unhurried attention from start to finish.
Do I need a bridal preview?
It isn't compulsory, but I really recommend it. It gives us time to create your look together without any time pressure, so there's no guesswork on your wedding morning. Read my guide to what to expect at your bridal preview.
How do I check your availability for my date?
Send me your wedding date, venue and a few details about your plans. I'll get back to you within 24 hours, and your date is secured with a 15% deposit once we've confirmed everything together.
